PHOENIX, AZ -- Sports Business Solutions and company president Bob Hamer are excited to announce the hiring of Kevin Klammer to be Sr. Director of Training & Development for the consulting company. This marks the fifth hire for the company since its founding in 2014.
SBS provides sales training, consulting, and recruiting services and they now have over 135 sports team and property clients throughout North America. Klammer brings 15 years of business development and leadership experience in sports, entertainment and media to the SBS team. In his new role he will be tasked with leading sales training and development sessions for the company’s current clients, as well as forging new partnerships. His experience in premium sales, B2B, and corporate partnerships across pro and collegiate sports, and his experience in media and ad sales is unparalleled in the sports consulting space, and it gives him a broad range of expertise and best practices to offer to SBS and its partners.
“I’ve seen firsthand what sales training can do for people. It’s enabled me to succeed across multiple industries and as I’ve grown my career, training and helping others has become a passion of mine” said Klammer. He went on to add “I met Bob in 2017 and have always been impressed with him, what SBS stands for, and what they’ve built over the years. When the opportunity arose to follow my passion of helping to train others and to do so by joining an emerging group like SBS, I jumped at it.”

Most recently, Klammer was the Manager of Premium Sales with the Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL). He recruited, hired, trained, coached, mentored and led a team of seven full time account managers and three interns. Their primary focus as a team was selling high dollar premium hospitality at TIAA Bank Field (home of the Jaguars) along with Daily’s Place Amphitheater. Prior to that he sold advertising at the Sun-Sentinel, Corporate Partnerships at Virginia Tech with IMG College and ticket plans and premium seating at the Florida Panthers (NHL).
Klammer owns a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a Masters in Sport Administration from Florida State University. He’s originally from Pittsburgh, PA and he currently resides in Tampa, FL with his family.
