Episode 54. Change in Sponsorship w/ Sung Kim & Chelsea Fenstermacher
Sponsorships (or better known as Corporate Partnerships) in sports have changed a lot over the last 5-10 years. Companies have transitioned from putting a billboard on the outfield wall and having a luxury suite to diving much deeper into ROI and they're now looking at more integrated and immersive partnerships than ever before. Partnerships in sports were already changing and then the COVID-19 pandemic hit and partner needs began to change again. For this session we invite on two Corporate Partnership specialists in sports to talk about what changes they're seeing in the Sponsorship space. Sunghwan Kim is a Jr. Account Executive in Brand Partnerships at ESL Gaming (eSports) and Chelsea Fenstermacher is the Director of Corporate Partnerships at Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment. Originally recorded July 9, 2020.
